I have been drawing and painting all my life and done a number of painting courses over the years. I use a variety of media depending on the subject.I find working with pastels very satisfying in particular for portraits. I like the soft effects you can produce with them

I also use them for landscapes.

After doing a course with American Artist Juliet Aristides I became more interested in using oils. With these I like to paint still-life, some with a philosophical meaning,

I’ve also done a number of figurative works using oils, including a series of paintings depicting film sets, based on ideas gained from my experiences working in the industry.
Also the odd animal!
