Steve’s Bio

Before he retired and took an evening class in learning to paint and draw Steve was to art what Caravaggio was to cross-channel swimming.

Despite his worst efforts, his tutor persevered and eventually taught him to hold brush, pen and pencil the right way up.

Once his preferred media and subject were established it was all downhill with graphite and coloured pencil, pen and ink and pastels all suffering at his hands.

He would like to thank Haydn Layton, Sarah Colegate, Susan Christopher Coulson and Mike Sibley for their patience and for valiantly trying to guide him over the years.
